Jaimee Arthurs is an island born interior designer with experience from across the globe. Having worked in London, Sydney, Manchester and Jersey she began JA Interiors in 2016 and focuses primarily on private residential renovations and consultations.
‘I believe in bright, bold colours and textures and truth to materiality. The spaces which have the most impact on me have a daring colour scheme, an oversized piece of furniture or art, or an abundance of plants! I like to gently pull clients away from their comfort zones and introduce these elements within their own projects.
Travel has also very much influenced my interior style. I love to encourage clients to populate their homes with memories and objects from their travels. I bring something back from every trip no matter how big or small the journey. These times are often our fondest and it’s important to keep them with us in the form of physical objects. Our home, like our personal image is a reflection of our personality and favourite life experiences.’
